So why do these things exist? Is it because they look like an offroad truck tire, and buyers want people to think their bike looks like a jeep?
I understand that DOT knobbies have their place, but most people can't stand how loud they are, or how the tarmac eats them up. But why not just put street tires on the larger dual sports and ADV bikes since they can do anything the chevron pattern tires can?
