Fellas, Ive asked this in a /co/ thread but I feel like I'll get a better answer here.

Would it not be more efficient for Tyranids to use bio milking machines to extract semen from males, than to use women as living seed beds?
See, there was an excerpt from a book (I think) where a charecter discovers women used as wombs for tyranids. And that got me thinking: there are over a hundred thousand eggs in a womans ovaries yes. But there are MILLIONS of sperm inside the average male. So, if Tyranids wanted to make millions of Tyranid human hybrids, they'd logically use bio milkers rather than ovipositors.

I hope im making sense here. Just so we're clear, I get it, its hot. I just dont think its in charecter for the Tyranids
