So one thing I never really understood lore-wise, why is it always made so abundantly clear that monsters are pathetically weak?

I mean some generic human knight guy solod prime gerson and basically all the strongest monsters and sealed them away, and as we already know a literal child can solo the whole monsterverse (granted the child is the antichrist but you know what I mean)
