Not true at all. If there were people out there willing to do UltraHDMI mods, the Analogue 3D wouldn't be desirable to me. I'd want it in a different color which I assumed was what they were going to do as it was how they handled the Analogue Pocket. It was unfortunate that I missed every one of those windows, but I still want a chance at a 3D with a different theme.

I'm not a fan of China either but the reality is that most of the items I've gotten were from China. If wages had kept up, I'd gladly dump the toxic stuff for the properly made originals. Wages cannot cover inflation and the constantly rising costs so tariffs just exasperate the issue.
