Depends.
In terms of the actual magnification of the image it’s very hard to tell.
But that’s magnification in isolation.
When I compare my G33 to my elcan there is almost no difference but that’s probably largely due to the fact they both have very similar FOV.
I’m sure if I took a 4x magnifier and compared it again to an elcan or acog the decrease in FOV would be more apparent because that’s just how magnifiers work yo.
The point I’m probably doing a poor job of trying to make is that you can’t just look at one factor in isolation.
Magnification matters but so does eyebox, eye relief, field of view, reticle, and weight, and how those variables all work together is what matters most.
For example a G45 gets you noticeably more magnification but drastically decreased usability due to how sensitive the eyebox is, how reduced the FOV is, and how much the dot becomes distorted or at least how that distortion becomes more apparent due to it being magnified 5x.
