Since you it brought up the other chapter, I'll ask: what was Croatia like during the medieval period/under the hungarian dual-monarchy? Was it the typical feudal kind of structure or were there influences from Italy/the Byzantines that affected its culture/society?
I had asked a history discussion group about it the other day and all I got was "Genuinely one of the least interesting parts of medieval Europe border wise" by a Turk, but I wanted to know more about it as an entity and other unique developments, as I know it had the unique mixed identity of already being two kingdoms (being paired with Dalmatia)
