Having thought about it a bit more, I guess I can understand why you would want a more focused adventure episode, but, I feel like those are getting stale after nearly half a dozen. An episode that shows characters interacting in a diversity of settings does more good for characterization; we've already seen how they act under pressure, but we've only had glimpses at how they behave in an environment where you're not constantly at risk of getting a limb torn off. The beginning of episode three gave us a little view, but since then, there's been very little.

I've saw some people say it had too much talking - in which case, (a) it's a character focused show and (b) the episode is broken up constantly by moments of physical comedy - and some people say there's way too little talking, in which case, did we watch the same episode?

People act differently when they're not in life or death scenarios. Jax is acting in this episode just like how he acted in the beginning of episode 3, which is the only other time we've seen him not in danger.
