Eh, maybe superficially. The entire run was a grab bag of concepts. It goes from this to a sad story about a self-sacrificing android, followed by a war between angels, followed by The Key trying to gain ascendance by trapping the Leaguers into Elseworlds Dreams where the success of his plans hinges on their breaking free, then Lex Luthor creating his own Injustice Gang and attempting a hostile corporate takeover of the Justice League which has the ripple effect of creating a dark future where Darkseid has conquered Earth, and so on. Too galaxy-brained for Timm and his crew.
