I like the characters more than I like the show they're in. The setting is very strong but the plot feels disconnected from the characters, like they were put on a theme park ride or a video game crossover. Nyaan escaped from a colony in a toy robot and it's not even shown and only alluded to twice in passing.
The staff should have developed the setting and then handed it off to someone else to execute.
