Given that I'm too old to attend an Ivy League university or a boarding school, and that I'm too poor to ever be in the professional managerial class. If I start a business, donate to enough non-profits, and attend enough galas, would that be enough to assimilate into the northeastern elitist WASP culture? If Indians, Chinese, Irish, Italians, Ukrainian, Jewish people, Jay Z, and Obama can, I don't see why I can't.
