Part 2
Other swarms are currently happening around the globe in relation (Either caused by, or geographically close to) volcanoes include:
Guatemala - Swarming started yesterday, and has had over 80 quakes above 2.0M according to Volcano Discovery
Washington State, USA - Several hundred 'microquakes' are happening at Mt. Rainier since yesterday. Magnitude is increasing a bit, frequency seems to be relatively consistent.
Greece - A lot of it is in relation to their erupting volcanoes, but the 'swarm' is widespread through the Dodecanese Islands. Many of the aftershocks of a 5.0+ the other day are along plate boundaries.
Picrel is 3.0+ quakes worldwide for the past 24 hours.
I always find this neat, others may not, but you can see a concentration of quakes at particular latitudes. When big quakes happen, it can cause chain reactions of plates bumping into one another.
