we fundamentally have different reactions and incentives when it comes to sex due to evolution because one gender can hit it and quit it and the other gender is stuck with being pregnant for 9 months
this also doesn't get into the whole
>men's reaction to women potentially being pregnant with someone else's child due to the evolution nightmare of raising someone else's spawn and thus women's reaction to that knowledge
modern science makes this a bit different, but that doesn't change our evolved reactions to sex/fear of pregnancy etc
