It's like watching someone in struggling in a quicksand pit. It's very clear the writers and artists have no ambition for this arc, but Kondom mandated them to keep on going with the arc because they have to stretch Kiseki as much as possible and since they made all the assets in Kuro 1 they are now forced to use them for at least 4 games. This is overall Falcom's strategy: make the assets and areas in the first entry and the reuse them for 3-4 games. That's what they will also do with the Sky remakes. However in Calvard's case it's very evident that the ideas they had for the arc were not enough to fill 4 games. And the writers don't know either what to do, so they are just mindlessly trudging through this shit without any light at the end of the tunnel. Kai is the best example of this. At this point Kondom should have long since cut the losses and ended the arc in Kai, yet he kept on and decided to stretch what little story ideas there are left to two games of nothingness. Just end it man, it's like watching a crippled dog at this point. there are so many other places we could visit in Zemuria still with fresh new casts, the Kiseki formula is not the problem, the problem is that they mismanaged the Calvard arc, the plot ideas they had for it just weren't enough to fill 4 games. You are just tiring out your devs AND your fans at this point. I hope the last investor meating was a wake up call for Kondom.
