You wouldn't. The short barrels were a one off run made around 2017.
The gun was the sole short 28 in a batch of 3 dozen similar shotguns in 12, 20, and 410 that were being rebuilt before retail sale.
I was intrigued by the idea of a compact 28 gauge so i bought it at a discount.
