i got in a fight with my mom instead
she was telling me about how she was on the phone with my dad for 30 minutes and they didnt fight
and i listened
and she said im surprised you aren't more happy about the phone call story i told you about
and i said well you guys are still getting divorced. you dont have to like each other anymore
then she said yeah but ill still always see him as family, and its better if we all are on good terms with each other
and i said i guess so
and then she took the list of my chores and went into her room and told me not to do any more work today
i did the job i could still remember then i knocked on the door to apologize but she still doesnt want to talk to me.
i think i made her upset before that though. she kept making fun of me for being lazy and worthless at housework and i didnt say anything but i sort of shut down. and then all my responses were very blunt and she was already upset because i was unhappy with her.
