Yeah FFX had some insane world building. Truly felt unique. Even the word "Zanarkand" is known in other Vidya communities. I disliked how it kinda felt like walking down a hallway although FF13 is far worse in that regard. I think FFX did well with keeping the locations "normal looking"(i.e besaid, the al bhed desert, Mt ronso) but dressing it up with the in game culture. Some places are definitely fantasy though like the tree place where suteki da ne plays
