True. People can cope about how Strive is so braindead and bad compared to previous GG games, but apparently the vast majority doesn't agree. Strive is 10000x more successful than the whole rest of the franchise. Those people who loved GG before were apparently a tiny blimp in the radar compared to the millions Strive attracted. 4+ years since release and it's still one of the most played Fighting Games, which was previously unheard for GG and really for any Anime Fighter in-general.
Meanwhile, people go on about how SNK's games are so old-school and better than 98% of things out, and yet no-one gives a fuck. Their games aren't selling(actually decreasing every new release), and the only people caring are the few 35+ year old SNK fans and others.
