You're misunderstanding.
I'm not saying they were overspending. I'm saying we never got to the point of seeing if their current cashflow was going to survive the cost of projects or not so to claim "they were financially viable" when they never got to be fully tested is presumptuous.
Specially considering that unlike in the US they actually do advertising that isn't just limited to nerd conventions.
