Japan was well ahead of most of the west in the 1980s and China is a full two generations ahead of your decaying husk of a state and the US is falling just as far behind. The most advanced and futuristic western city is Tel Aviv and that just got bombed.

You are coping. But it is becoming increasingly difficult to ignore the blindingly obvious truth of how far western countries have fallen behind China and many other countries int he world. Keep appealing to stonks numbers and cold war white elephants if you like. You will never in your entire lifetime enjoy the standard of living of the average Chinese today, nor will your grandchildren in the unlikely event you ever get to have any.
