The monetization in Masterduel makes no god-damn sense to me. How does this game make money? I am able to build everything I want as a free-to-player. The value for gems is so awful, they charge $15CAN for an amount of gems you can earn just playing the game for 30 mins. I feel not opposed to spending money on Masterduel because it provides me hours of entertainment, but it is pointless because it is so easy to be free-to-play instead. What are Masterduel players spending their money on, are they spending gems so they can roll on the Master Pack banner? Please explain, thanks.
