Damn that really sucks. I can't really think of many places where importation wouldn't be possible, but honestly it wouldn't fair for you or the frog. Even without moralfagging it's dead money if you know you can't keep it and you will spend a decent amount of money to get a frog in a good setup to begin with. Ontop of all of that you will likely get a young frog which by the time it is fully grown and you are able to appreciate it you will likely need to move. I know it's not the most desireble advice anon, trust me. I have been in that same spot for years regarding dogs. But when you get that frog and grow an attachment and are standing there and looking at his tank, knowing you need to get rid of him, you are going to wish you didn't get him so you don't have to go through that emotional turmoil.
