The thing is that Cathay supposedly is undergoing that massive civil war currently in The Old World but there's basically nothing about it in the current AJ. The Dragon Emperor disappears in 1999 IC. Then he returns and throws out the Monkey King in 2380 but that's basically all the fluff for that era, along with the dragon siblings fighting each other and eventually uniting against the Monkey King. Cathay is in the warring states period right now, the Time of Darkness and Disharmony.
If the second Arcane Journal for Cathay doesn't tell us about any of this shit then I'm out. Supremely disappointed.
