/u/ content being the least popular category has never bothered me as much as it has in the BG3 fandom. None of the usual excuses apply: there's an excellent female cast - better written than the male cast, I'd say - and they're given very prominent roles in the story. Now what does the fandom focus on? Fucking Astarion. I dunno if I even hate the character, but I despise the fandom's single-minded obsession with the fucker. It doesn't end there either.
