... nevermind the gold armor is supposed to be reflective, and the only reason GAmes workshop aren't is because they're using shitty acrylic paints that could never have the same gold luster as their own source material. As proven in multiple photos, even a budget children's toy company like Hasbro can make C3P0's with that golden luster.
