I played my second game of blood bowl ever yesterday (team vampire) and finally I got my first Touch down and was fucking spetacular.
>get the ball, try to outmaneuver the black orcs by creating a cage on the side of the field. (pic related, the ball is the coin and the vampire thrower is holding it)
>Put my runner on the line of the touch down.
>With luck I push the goblin next to the line with my thrall
>Block dice, fall down, the goblin make AV throw, don't pass, die.
>My blitzer use hypnotic gaze on the black orc, make 6 and fucking work.
>My thrower start running on the halway I created next to the black orc.
>Long pass fucking 1 but saved by a 6 of the "Pass" reroll
>My friends are in disbelif of this action that was pure luck.
>Still lose 3-1 but really proud of that touch down

So I learned a lot of my team, I scored, I like the hypnotic gaze mechanic and I lost a lot of people through blood frenzy, Now I learn when to take a turnover instead of biting, I lost 3 thrall like this, now I know that Usuallya turnover is a good thing with a team like this.
