The Ocean Shield Fleet

It has come to the attention of officials in Tokio of a black project that has been worked on in the inter-war years. Called the Ocean Shield project, a fleet has been worked on in secret for years, with corvettes, frigates, and even carriers being assembled in an underground dock. Not even the Prime Minister was aware of the existence of this project. No longer. Officials were informed of the fleet this morning, with Admiral Akira Saito debriefed an hour later. He has begun to incorporate the fleet into the Nippon Navy and her ongoing operations in the East and South China Seas.
The Ocean Shield fleet is comprised of the following: 3 carriers, 25 frigates, and 4 corvettes.
