I feel you, Pokemon was my favorite thing ever since I was a kid. I enjoyed every pokemon game until USUM which was the last game I bought, but just seeing it devolve into slop as time goes on is really sad and frustrating. For the first few years I was content playing Romhacks and fan games since those were still good, but honestly something's changed and now those kinda bum me out too. It's like looking into an alternate reality of what might exist if GF gave a shit. I still tune into the Pokemon directs just out of the hope that they'll make something interesting again but for the past several years they've just been shit, I dont even know why I bother anymore.
