Not what I said faggot. You can argue that superficially resembles a metroidvania, but it's not one. You can enter any area in any order you want, none of the goodies and upgrades are mandated for completing the game, and the stages themselves are mostly linear. If your only clinging point is that there are hidden goodies, then Mega Man Zero could be considered a metroidvania.
