You know I don't think anyone will deny /v/ was kind of bad. But why now of all times do so many people insist on making this entire board and by extension the rest of the site into an irredeemable, unreadable hellscape? Before everyone seemed to have this sort of shared misery or understanding on things, people just felt like weird outcasts with hobbies occasionally poking fun or having fun. But now everything has to feel like engagement or outrage bait for politics, social media, current events or surface level problems in the industry. What do you get by making this place worse than it already is?
