Swap Ostican with Caleus Castle and Vlandia's position becomes a little less powerful. The fact they have so many settlements on the Ebor peninsula that is fairly protected (occassionally Battanians or Sturgians can push into Rovalt) is part of the problem, and also completely unbalanced compared to Sturgians in the initial conflicts. This swap would put a Vlandian town in a weaker position and give more impetus to Sturgian or Battanian campaigns against them; for example the opening conflict, if Sturgia wins the opening engagement and takes the first castle on their front (Caleus Castle), they still have to plow through another castle at a choke point, just to have a chance to push into north Vlandian area, and even if they do succeed and take Rovalt, that doesn't drastically hurt Vlandian recovering and reprisals; but if Vlandians win the first castle, they have free path to take Varcheg, and taking Varcheg isolates a third of Sturgia's entire nation stunting their recovery severely.
