I mostly agree here, keeping up with that is far more important and fruitful in my mind... but I wouldn't write it off entirely. I dress up very properly all the time despite there being no ocassion - I simply like to look nice! So... If it's a look you want to achieve, you should try! Within reason to your health, of course...
