As far as I'm aware most camera manufacturers attach the lens mount to a magnesium alloy frame... even the cheapie a7c had the lens mount attached to metal...

For how much /p/ focuses on build quality no one ever shit talks nikon, even though their sub-pro cameras are legit creaky and F mount was notorious for extremely shitty feeling focus rings.
