Refusing to retreat, Mashymre continues to draw additional AEUG battalions to attack him, defeating them without any effort on his part. With each victory however, his Bawoo's energy reserves continues to dwindle further and further.

Snapping out of his battle induced trance, Mashymre softens at the sound of Fa's voice, both from his connection to Kamille and his own adoration of the young woman.
>Illia: I thought you were the one that was going to protect me! Either help me or resupply already!
>Mashymre: Wait, hold your attack! Fa...why is she on the battlefield?!
>Illia: "Fa?" You know one of their pilots?

Seeing a beam impact Illia's Regelgu, Mashymre launches a retalitory assault on Bernard Wiseman's squadron, severely damaging his EX-S and destroying the bulk of his squadron in a matter of moments.

>Mashymre: What...what have I done?! Fa?! Can you hear me, Fa?!

Fa's heinously damaged Nero is left derelict from its damage. Moving his Bawoo next to the crippled machine, Mashymre pulls open Fa's cockpit, opening his own to leap inside with her.

[Mashymre and Fa are now MIA]

>Illia: Your abandoning us now?! Mashymre, why?!
>Ple: And that makes twenty!

Ambushing Illia from behind, Ple forces her Regelgu against an astroid as she fires a beam through her cockpit. Absorbing her departed spirit, Ple's powers continue to grow rapidly, as does her loss of "self" as she continues her slaughter.
