We finally did. I 1cced Daioujou WL. It was my first DDP game, so it took some getting used to.

I accidently let the bomb at stage 2 boss escape, because I waited too long to start hypering and bombing. This resulted in having only 1 bomb and hyper on stage 3 boss. i almost made it there anyway because I perfectly used the hyper shortly before its transition to the last phase, so could get in a lot of hits. Then I bombed and another hyper spawned, but immediatly as I grabbed it, I died. Boss only needed 1 more bullet to die.

The cart section went pretty well, but I made a big mistake on the extra life cannon. I ended up too late in my starting position, which messed up my route for it, and I accidently used 2 laser bombs on it, almost killing the main part. I also died on it, but then got the extend. Rails went wellwith 2 bombs and a hyper. Laser cannon was very suss but I didnt die. Still no clue how to do it.

at that point I knew I had to save bombs on stage 4 boss. i only had 3 bombs in stock but managed to not die on it anyway, which went very well for my standards.

Stage 5 beginning went great, but died at first DDP mid-boss. Used 1 hyper and 2 bombs at beehive section which went well for me. Did the first pipe section really welll. The rest was not great but also not terrible. Had 3 bombs and 1 bonus life when I came to the endboss. I used all of it, every single bomb (7 in total).

My PB is actually 60 million but that wasn't a clear.
it's a great game, but a bit frustrating and archaic. I played on steam deck so the dodging was really tight. Probably would have been easier on a bigger screen and a stick.
