The more I learn about the metagame, the more I am repelled by the focus on support cards.
It sounds like the goal is to have max level cards, which are so broken that you run it in every career on every horse ... which sounds like the opposite of what I'm looking for in this game.

The real appeal, imo, is the breeding because it reminds me of SMT Fusion as well as minmaxing Skills, not stats.
I want to formulate a strategy around a certain gameplan/win condition but the reality is that you can forego all that and spam Speed/Stamina cards for a better result.
I think having more horses with unique skills/gameplans is more fun than playing the roll gachashart spiel.
