I just looked through 1st edition and couldn't see any negroes, except perhaps this unfortunate guy getting blammed by an ork. And I think in his case it's probably just the lighting that makes him look dark
Negroes were an uncommon sight in England in 1987, so they weren't really included in artwork for game books.
