Yeah I recognize that. For me it was just too fast, and the backstory felt tailor-made to speedrun their forgiveness of her.

That's honestly another part I don't like. The 'Rudo did terrible things too' bit. I still think he was completely justified. Just because someone who was previously trying to enslave/kill you and your loved ones is no longer a threat doesn't mean you aren't allowed to feel hatred for them and want to beat the shit out of them.

Ultimately I just think I would've rather Rudo hold onto that hatred for her a bit longer, and her actually have to earn his forgiveness.
But I know that it's part of developing Rudo's character in a way that's going to play into his general goals for revenge, among other things.
Like I said I just tolerate her now.
