Keep in mind the highest exp you can get for Bots/Bugs is 2400 exp per mission meaning you need to complete a single operation for 1 level and that is assuming you get good RNG to reach 2400 exp each mission. Squids are the worst faction since they only give a pitiful 1700 at their best because they are missing side objectives to reach 2400 like SAM Sites.
