Does is make you happy? Then it means you enjoy and like it - seeking and findind validation in the opinion of those around you is totally natural and it's okay to feel a bit of impostor syndrome. It's a hobby like any other and the most important part is that *you* are having fun with it and it will totally reflect on it and others who appreciate the craft and art of it will notice
