Why would Pam Bondi brief him that he's in the Epstein files in may if he's not in the Epstein files? Why would he so consistently act so cagey and guilty about the Epstein files over so long a period of time? Feel kinda bad for Maggies, not gonna lie. You just know a lot of these guys have burned bridges and ruined relationships with friends, families, spouses. There's no getting through to a lot of you guys because your identities are tied up in this shit, as well as a huge sunk cost fallacy. After all, if it turns out that this letter is real and if it's written by Trump, and if what it implies is real... what does that say about you? What does that say about the "movement" you've invested your identity into for a decade?
If Trump WAS actually best pals with Epstein and they were "enigmas" together with "beautiful secrets"... it just can't be. That's like an identity deathblow. It's a betrayal not only by Trump but in some sense, because in the back of your mind you know -- you've always known -- who and what Trump is because despite all the mythos and gravitas you've varnished over him... you've known dudes like him before. We all have. In that sense, you've betrayed yourself, and maybe that's the hardest thing to swallow here: not the lies, the ineptitude, the insults... but the fact that you know better. You just didn't want to.

Just to be clear, we want to see the files to know who was involved with Epstein's child sex ring -- up to including maybe Trump himself -- so we can put them in prison. Rich and powerful people always get away with it because they're rich and powerful. Lots of us want to see justice done on the class that always gets away with it -- again, potentially including Trump himself. He's often acted very, very suspicious about Epstein in general (see picrel).
