This is is my virtual folder from MO2 (left) and my actual Skyrim data folder (right). The reason MO2 beats other mod managers is this virtual folder. Most mod managers like vortex just put mods straight into your game's folders. This overwrites stuff you don't want to fuck with in the worst of cases but even in the best of cases it's still messy. MO2 instead stages your mods in this virtual folder, then when you run the game through MO2 it attaches the folder and all your mods click in. That's why my real Skyrim data folder (right) has just basic install stuff while the virtual folder (left) is packed full of shit. That's why I'm asking you to run the "explore virtual folder" executable. If your mods aren't even showing up in that folder there's a serious disconnect going on. You did already try reinstalling MO2 right?
