The NGAD program has had full scale airplanes flying since 2020 at least. The assumption I see with these posts is the idea that the chink *supposed* 6th Gens (two planes trying to accomplish the goal of one... funny.) are the first because they were seen publically. Ignoring how the Chinks have been posturing exact copies of speculative NGAD designs for years leading up to now, and they were almost identical to the artist interpretations of the NGAD, as again, made by the US first and foremost.
Lockheed showed part of their speculative offering in 2023. Northrup did theirs even earlier in iirc early 2023 or 2022, even.
This whole idea that the NGAD doesn't exist or whatever is based on the fact that the US military is intentionally flying them in secure airbases in the middle of nowhere at night. This isn't the first time they've done this with advanced airframes, see the F-117, F-22/YF-23, and B-2.
Also there's something to be said about how it MIGHT be a good idea to test the airframes from your three contract competitors before just going "well this speculative airframe that hasn't even flown with no real flight data is the one we'll pick". It was an intentional propaganda choice from Chinks to posture that they have 6th Gens because the USAF likes to be secretive about what they're working on still. The B-21 was the US's version of this exact propaganda move.
