You’re right that is how most people think about their life. For me I view it as more my individual consequence of gravity. My existence is a wound in time waiting to heal. I am happy. I enjoy being alive. It’s mostly fun. I don’t think Im comfortable giving this ‘gift’ to someone else. My life has been incredible violent. I have had to do stuff I regret. Others have done worse. If I bring another into the world they will be subject to the same negative impulses and pains that all life has to manage. It’s a gift with a shelf life and promise of pain and death as it expires.
