shareholders need to get their dividend
they dont fucking care because once the company starts to slow down they just sell their shares and move onto the next venture

fiduciary obligations are THE reason for the enshittification of everything
because otherwise companies have incentive to provide a quality product
because then the name of the game is stable growth, not short term profit
