Very disappointing end of June in general. Went to a Catholic speed dating event, but the schedule got completely thrown off due to both guys and girls not showing up despite registering, which the event hosts didn't account for. Two out of the three girls I was set to talk to were absent, so myself and several other guys just ended up talking to random girls who had also lost their partners. I hit it off well with most of them (one girl even had the same favorite book as me), but the only one I have a realistic chance of speaking to again (i.e., the one assigned girl who showed up) was boring as hell. Just my luck. I guess the dating apps are unavoidable.
