Yeah I actually beat her last night, I spent a lot of time looking at encounter tables and trainer movesets this time.
It's annoying, but if anyone can do this game blind I'm impressed.
I just used a throwaway gyarados with leftovers to spam ice fang against the golbat, but it ended up breaking out of confusion anyway.
The rest of her team wasn't a problem.
