but ffxiv don't need "good story", it needs very prominent characters. like Emetselk, Venat, Zenos, Hier guy or whatever his name, the stormblood slut, Ryne and her lesbo friend.

not ugly lion woman, and nothing else. alexandria was ugly, memory world was ugly and destroyed, erenvill and his mother was so-so ans ukramat was bad, so no good characters, no good locations, bad primals fights, like come on, random bad bird, and lizard with ugly soundtrack, really?)) compare this to some innocence extreme, fairy extreme battles, these was much more good.

Dawntrail's soundtrack was not so good too. i think only good themes was openworld battle theme, and 1 dungeon, on texas location

so dawntrail was overall pretty low. low story, low characters, low soundtrack, long pauses between patches, nothing new interesting. pretty mid occult crescent content. i dunno, it just mid. and mid is not enough.
