I really want to do this in the national park behind the house but 1. it's frowned upon (unlegal) and 2. it's hard to find proper seedlings that haven't spread their roots to wide yet

I did do this once many years ago with some wintergreen berries and moss, and a psychotic family member deliberately knocked it over and smashed it while I wasn't home, because some people just cannot allow anyone to have anything of their own
