The problem now is that they think they've done good by delivering Liliana to us as a "reformed" Black character, who is written unbelievably poorly and simply handwaves plane-wide massacres, fucking over fellow Planeswalkers, and toying with corpses for most of her life due to her contracts with demons that she never once actually had to pay her part in. They're too retarded to understand their own failures, so it's hard to think of Black as anything other than TEH EVIL PENGUIN OF DOOM color that you slap onto any villain.
