Yeah, as I typed that I realized Tails would be a decent dad and the relationship between him and Amy has the potential for some cuteness.
Sonic would probably go like "Good stuff buddy" happy for Tails and secretly thankful that Amy is out of his ass, but I think he'd be supportive. Amy gradually falls more and more for Tails because he reflects a lot of Sonic's qualities and because he had plenty of upsides of his own, both are present for the kid expect Tails occasionally goes on an adventure with Sonic and Amy herself sometimes tags along.
It definitely is the "stable relationship." But in a story that would only work as an island of stability in a sea of chaos, rather than being something more important. Amy x Sonic's unwanted child would make for a better standalone story because it's more chaotic in itself.
Tailamy is adorable though.
